Confirmation 2017

 
A huge congratulations to the 6th Class on making their confirmation. The ceremony was celebrated by Archbishop Diarmuid on March 9th 2017. Everybody had a wonderful day and are all now filled with the gift of the Holy Spirit. A huge Thank you to the girls in 4th and 5th class who put so much time and effort into the choir. You sounded wonderful! A big Thank you also to Ms O'Dwyer who was wonderful conducting the choir and also on the clarinet!
 

 

World Book Day 2017

 
Today we celebrated World Book Day. All of the girls made a huge effort with their costumes! :-) 

 

 

Operation Transformation 10@10

 
Today on the 10th of February we took part in the 10@10 as a whole school activity. We set up the yard into different stations and we then completed 10 minutes of exercise at 10 o'clock. We all had great fun taking part and enjoyed bringing active together as a school. We are going to keep up our fitness in our daily school routine by completing a few minutes of exercise in class everyday!
 
 

Ceremony Of Light

Well done to all the 6th Class girls who had their Ceremony of Light on Wednesday evening. The girls are extremely busy preparing for their confirmation which is on March 9th 2017, I hope that you will all think of them as they embark on the journey of confirmation. 
 

Christmas Art

 
To celebrate Christmas we are making christmas ornaments and decorations. This year we are making them in clay. We have completed
 
 

The Choir

The choir sang beautifully at the open day and at our own school concert. Well done girls on all your hard work.

Peer Tutoring

This year the sixth class have helped the first class with the laptops for 15mins every Wednesday. It is a great learning experience for both classes. Sixth have to use patience, their own knowledge and leadership qualities during this time and the first class in return are supported and are more motivated to succeed in front of the older girls. A sense of enjoyment, teamwork, social interaction and communication skills are been developed by all.

Good Behaviour Week

We have been revising all things to do with behaviour and as a class we decided to create a tree of kindness. This tree is hung up in the corridor and whenever we do something good we get a leaf and place it on the tree. We hope to have the tree overflowing by the end of the year.
